JZ Microphones last week had a great shootout at Toronto based studio Phase One (www.phaseonestudios.com) where bands like U2, Rihanna, Sting have made their records. The shootout went under supervision of sound engineers Mike Smith and Dajaun Martineau. Black Hole 1S won and made a great impression over some well known and much more expensive condenser mics. As well as Vintage 47 showed it's belonging to vintage microphone family tree and everyone agreed that there are considerable alternative for fans of U47 sound.
